BioEngineering Day is coming!
This year, we are holding BioEngineering Day in Price Center West Ballroom, at 9 a.m. on May 21st. To register, see this link. More information about BioEngineering Day can be found on the Committee page
Welcome to the Biomedical Engineering Society Chapter at UC San Diego. We are one of the largest Bioengineering student organizations at UCSD and we’re excited to get to know you! Our org is open to all, and if you can name it, we probably have an opportunity, event or committee that you’d like to be a part of. We have 8 committees that plan activities spanning topics from academic research, industrial bioengineering, senior design work, engineering projects, community outreach, and more.
Our chapter’s committee structure allows us to host events throughout the year oriented towards providing Bioengineering students with the tools they need to succeed and with a community in which to thrive. We’re passionate about what we do and we couldn’t be more excited about your interest in BMES! Please navigate to the Get Involved page or any of the committee pages to learn more about what BMES can do for you!
We have not yet scheduled our next GBM. If you would like to get involved, feel free to look through the Get Involved page, or attend one of the other events we have planned.

Join us for our last BioWorks committee meeting of the year!
Thu, May 21st, 9 a.m.
Bioengineering Day serves to celebrate UC San Diego's consistently top ranked bioengineering department, the current research by students, and the overall burgeoning field itself. The day-long event features various speakers, senior design project presentations, research seminars, and networking sessions. It is attended by well over 400 people each year, and is a great opportunity for undergraduates, graduate students, faculty, and members from industry to form valuable connections with one another.
